“AS LONG AS THE WORLD STANDS, MAGTYMGULY SHALL REMAIN” DEDICATED TO THE DAY OF CULTURE AND ART WORKERS AND THE POETRY OF MAGTYMGULY PYRAGY
In the Revival of the New Era of the Powerful State, at a time when our independent country pays immense attention to the development of national culture, science, and education, the Turkmen State Institute of Culture hosted a prestigious online scientific and creative conference titled “Dünýe durdugyça durar Pyragy” (“Magtymguly Pyragy Will Endure as Long as the World Endures”). Conducted entirely in foreign languages, this prominent forum was dedicated to the widely celebrated Day of Culture and Arts Workers, as well as the Poetry of Magtymguly Pyragy.
Organized at a high methodological and administrative level, the online meeting gathered leading professors, lecturers, and talented students from higher and secondary professional educational institutions of culture and arts in Turkmenistan onto a single digital platform. The main objective of the event was the deep philosophical comprehension of Magtymguly’s creative legacy, the global popularization of his priceless humanistic heritage, and raising international cultural dialogue to a qualitatively new level. The official part of the conference commenced with an inspiring video presentation that revealed the profound depth of the poet’s philosophical views. Following the agenda, the floor was given to 7 comprehensive scientific and creative presentations delivered in English and Russian. Speakers focused their attention on several vital areas:
The Global Resonance of Poetry & National Heritage: An in-depth analysis of Magtymguly Pyragy’s peace slogans and humanistic philosophy translated into world languages, alongside an examination of the poet's iconic persona portrayed in national cinematography.
Educational and Methodological Innovation: Sharing modern, interactive, and advanced methods of teaching foreign languages specifically tailored for students of creative and fine arts disciplines.
Generational Continuity and Youth Upbringing: Emphasizing the spiritual, moral, and patriotic significance of the great thinker's heritage in guiding and shaping the next generation of creative professionals.
Concluding the forum, the participants highlighted the immense productivity of the exchange and formulated key resolutions. It was unanimously agreed that the mission to popularize the literary heritage of Magtymguly Pyragy in foreign languages on a global scale must be pursued with renewed vigor. Furthermore, the conference clearly demonstrated that the bridges of friendship and professional collaboration among the country’s cultural educational institutions are growing stronger by the day, unlocking new horizons for the advancement of national humanities.
