Faculty of Tourism
2702In accordance with the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan dated July 12, 2019, the Faculty of Tourism of the National Institute of Sports and Tourism of Turkmenistan was transferred to Turkmen State Institute of Culture. Since September 2, 2019, it has two departments:
There are two departments in the Faculty of Tourism:
- Department of Tourism;
- Department of Hotel Business.
Diplomas of students who have completed their respective courses in the above-mentioned departments include the following specialties:
1. Hotel Business – They gain the profession of hotel business manager
2. Tourism Business – They get the profession of tourism business manager
Students who have successfully graduated from the institute are allowed to work in tourist agencies and hotels of the state. During the course, it is planned to conduct student internships in several tourism and hotel establishments across the country. Tours are also planned for well-known tourist attractions and museums.
