CULTURE REVIVED BY INDEPENDENCE
244 Soon it will be 33 years since our dream ofnational independence, which our people cherished for many centuries, came
true. In this connection, on the occasion of Turkmenistan's independence, a
scientific-practical conference entitled “The New Stage of Turkmenistan's
Development in the Years of Independence: Culture and Art” was held in the
conference hall of our Institute. Students of the Yagshygeldi Kakaev
International University of Oil and Gas, Dovletmammed Azadi Institute of World
Languages, Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction, as well as
our mentors and fellow students actively made speeches at the meeting. Their
speeches were mainly on the progress in the life of our country after we gained
national independence and the importance of efforts made under the wise
leadership of our Arkadagly Serdar. At the end of the meeting, the participants
enjoyed the performances of the creative team of our institute.
