A CONFERENCE DEDICATED TO THE BOOKS OF THE ESTEEMED PRESIDENT HERO-ARKADAG

group based
on a new theory in

scientifically describe our
culture, literature and
glorious history dating
back thousands of years, and
approve the charter and
activities of the working group,
the plan for the implementation of the working group
in 2025-2026
on
October 30, 2024,
in accordance
with the order of the Turkmen State
Institute of Culture No.
344, on January 4,
2025, a solemn meeting
was held on the theme ‘The books of our Esteemed President Arkadagly
Hero Serdar and the National Leader of the Turkmen people Hero
Arkadag are a source of study of historical, literary and
cultural heritage’.
The
conference was opened by the Rector of the Turkmen State Institute of Culture,
Candidate of Art History Amanmyrat Durdymyradovich Aydogdiyev. He
congratulated the participants of the solemn meeting on the New Year 2025 and
spoke about the great national, international and globally significant works
carried out in the country under the leadership of our Hero Serdar and the
National Leader of the Turkmen people, as well as the importance of the
wonderful books of our Esteemed President Arkadagly
Hero Serdar and the National Leader of the Turkmen people Hero
Arkadag, he said in general terms.
As emphasised in the Rector's speech, on
Turkmenistan's initiative, the UN General Assembly unanimously adopted the
Resolution ‘2025 - Year of International Peace and Trust’. In this regard, the
Turkmen leader supported the joint proposal of the members of the Mejlis of
Turkmenistan with our people and declared the slogan of 2025 ‘The Year of
International Peace and Trust’. The entire Turkmen people, the entire
population of the country met the New Year 2025 with high spirits and joy.
On the initiative of the National
leader of the Turkmen people Hero Arkadag,
and our President Arkadagly Hero Serdar, the 300th anniversary of the birth of
Magtymguly Piragi, an intellectual and influential figure of the world scale,
was celebrated on a national and international scale. Major cultural, social
and political events were held in honour of the master of the word, books by
our scholars and famous scientists were published.

Garajayeva spoke on the theme ‘Travelling to our
thousand-year history’ ; senior lecturer of the Turkmen Language Department
Ogultagan Amanova of Magtymguly Turkmen State University spoke on the theme: “The
book about a preçious stone” is the main source for studying the language of Magtymguly's
works’; Maral Hojatova, senior lecturer of the Turkmen
Language Department of the Dovletmammamet Azadi Institute of Turkmen National
World Languages spoke on the theme “ Our Arkadagly
Hero Serdar`s and the National Leader of the Turkmen people Hero
Arkadag`s books are the
best fountain for raising interest in our glorious history and civic heritage
among young people”; Guychmyrat
Gurbandurdiyev, senior lecturer of the Music History Department of the Maya
Kuliyeva Turkmen National Conservatory said : ‘The book of our Hero Arkadag “If
the State Unites” is a valuable resource for studying the history and theory of
Turkmen music’; Orazgozel Utomyshova, senior lecturer of the Social
Sciences Department of the State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan, spoke on the theme
‘Turkmenistan - the centre of ancient cultures’.
“Magtymguly Pyragy is
a master worthy of great respect,” is how the Honourable President described in his
wonderful book, ’ ‘Magtymguly is a sage of the world.’ He is a sage who absorbs the
whole world and life in his works and instils love in mankind. There is no
other poet who has commented artistically on moral standards, behaviour and
characteristics necessary for the betterment of society like Piragi. In order
to educate the youth on the basis of national qualities inherited from our
fathers, the spirit of patriotism, to foster in them love for the country, the
people, the Motherland, we must strictly follow the advice of Magtymguly Pyragy.
During the conference, talented students of the Turkmen
State Institute of Culture performed songs praising our independent and neutral
Turkmenistan, our Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar who do great things for the country. Cheerful and joyful
speeches made a great impression on the listeners.
